"My journey with Joan started when she came over to help me organize all my baby gear after my twins baby shower. I had double of mostly everything and more baby gear and apparel then I knew what to do with. Joan helped me to set up the nursery and organize all my wonderful gifts into a functional way. Two months into having the twins Joan came to me as a night nurse. This was a wonderful experience seeing how my twins were premies and needed to be woken up to be fed every 3 hours. After two months of my husband and I doing 3 feedings each throughout the night, sometimes even more, it felt amazing to get our first full night sleep. Eventually, as the twins began to sleep through the night Joan switched capacity and at times she would help us out during the day, giving us a chance to take a nap or just catch upon laundry.  Today, my twins are 5 years old and we also have an 18 month old. Joan continues to be an integral part of our family helping us out during family vacation/events. Joan is a wonderful, kind, and caring person. Our 3 daughters love her and I know they are well loved and in good hands when they are with Joan!" -Melissa T.

"I have had the pleasure of knowing Joan for 20 years. Five years ago my twin granddaughters were born and Joan was hired by my daughter as a nurse for her premie twins. She has accompanied us on family trips to assist in the care of my grandchildren. She has also gone to family weddings. This enabled us to have the children at the ceremony and the reception for pictures. Then Joan took the children back to the hotel and we were able to relax and enjoy. She is extremely reliable, loving and patient. Joan will be accompanying us again this July for a family wedding and next year for another family trip. The children love “Auntie Joan”. Having her with us gives us all great peace of mind. It creates the perfect balance knowing we can leave the kids with Joan and also enjoy a nice vacation break! She has accompanied my family and I on multiple family vacations as well as helped during milestone events such as family weddings. Joan helped to lead meal times, facilitated structured play, and always kept my children engaged. She would help with our routine care such as naps and baths. We always felt comfortable leaving her with our children and trusted her judgement. she always had great advice and suggestions!
